Sharon Lask Munson

Sharon Lask Munson grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and Wayne State University. After college, with an eye on travel and adventure, she taught in England, Germany, Okinawa, and Puerto Rico. After overseas teaching, she drove her blue Oldsmobile up the Alcan Highway to Anchorage, Alaska where she put down new roots, taught school, married, and lived for the next twenty years. She is now retired and lives with her husband, Keith, in Eugene, Oregon. Her poems capture what she has experienced, observed, and how she makes sense of her life and her place in the world. Sharon's work has been published in many literary journals and anthologies.
