Deb Casey

A long-time reisdent of Eugene, Deb Casey works with nontraditional students at the University of Oregon, where she also has edited fiction for Northwest Review. The recipient of a University of Oregon Summer Research Grant focused on Personal Options: Child Care That Works, she was also awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship Grant for poetry and the Bernice Slote Poetry Award, from Prairie Schooner. Deb also delights in explorations with visual and verbal images, and has been published in Calyx, Chicago Review, Kenyon, River Styx, Zyzzva, and other magazines, journals, and anthologies. Her chapbook AS-IS, Several Sisters was recently published by Finishing Line Press.
