Robert Hill Long

Robert Hill Long is the author of The Power to Die and The Work of the Bow (Cleveland State, 1987, 1997), The Effigies (Plinth Books, 1998), The Kilim Dreaming (Bear Star Press, 2010), The Wire Garden (Arlo Press, 2010), and Walking Wounded (WordTech Editions, 2012). He has received multiple fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Oregon Arts Commission, and his poems, prose poems, and flash fictions have appeared in journals and anthologies across America since 1970s. He taught creative writing at the University of Oregon, Penn State, and Clark University for many years, and lives in Eugene.
