Geranna Fleming was born in Coquille, Oregon and grew up on a farm near Myrtle Point.  She is a graduate of Willamette University and the University of Portland.  Her careers in Portland were as a social worker and legal secretary.  She now volunteers for the Nature Conservancy.

Her chapbook, Starting With Coquille was a Prescott First Book, edited by Vi Gale with etchings by LaVerne Krause.  Her poems have appeared in many publications including Stone City I, Poems by Oregon Poets, edited by Ron Talney and The Prescott Street Reader, edited by Vi Gale.
